Open tot eind februari"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>De enorme toename van de hoeveel geproduceerd afval is \u00e9\u00e9n van de belangrijkste uitdagingen van onze tijd. <\/p>\n\n<p>Volgens een recent rapport van de Wereldbank zal de hoeveelheid afval dat geproduceerd wordt in de wereld tegen 2050 met 70% toenemen indien er geen drastische maatregelen worden genomen. Vooral plastic afval zal duizenden jaren lang schade blijven toebrengen aan rivieren, oceanen en andere ecosystemen. Deze situatie is in de context van de pandemie alleen nog maar verergerd. <\/p>\n\n<p>Momenteel wordt 34% van al het afval geproduceerd in ontwikkelde landen (waar slechts 16% van de wereldbevolking woont).<\/p>\n\n<p>In samenwerking met het fotoagentschap MAPS wijdt G\u00e9opolis een tentoonstelling aan dit belangrijke vraagstuk. De tentoonstelling omvat twee fototentoonstellingen en \u00e9\u00e9n educatieve tentoonstelling ontworpen door G\u00e9opolis en ONG Bellona. <\/p>\n\n<p>Tentoonstellingen: <\/p>\n\n<p>Wounded rivers \u2013 Ga\u00ebl Turine\/MAPS<\/p>\n\n<p>Geologische droom  \u2013 Simona Ghizzoni \/MAPS<\/p>\n\n<p>De tentoonstelling is open van 5 december tot 20 december voor het publiek.
