Elle a notamment r\u00e9alis\u00e9 \u00ab Odd Day \u00bb, un reportage qui aborde les troubles alimentaires et \u00ab Afterdark \u00bb qui traite de l\u2019impact psychologique de la guerre sur les femmes dans la zone du bassin m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en. Plus r\u00e9cemment, elle a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 \u00ab UNCUT \u00bb, un reportage photographique et web documentaire illustrant le courage des femmes et leurs batailles contre les mutilations sexuelles f\u00e9minines. Ses travaux ont notamment \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9compens\u00e9s au\u00a0<em>World Press Photo\u00a0<\/em>en 2008 et au\u00a0<em>Sony World Photography Awards<\/em>\u00a0en 2016. Ils sont tellement disproportionn\u00e9s par rapport \u00e0 ce que l&#8217;on imagine. Plus il est difficile de s\u2019imaginer le probl\u00e8me, moins on y porte d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat. Globalement, c\u2019est \u00e7a la base de mon travail. Rien ne devient important pour nous tant que cela ne devient pas personnel, tant que l\u2019on n\u2019en fait pas l\u2019exp\u00e9rience et qu\u2019on ne le voit pas \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n<p><strong>In the context of the exhibition \u2018Waste, stop the invasion\u2019, presented at G\u00e9opolis until December 20, we interviewed Simona Ghizzoni of MAPS images about her documentary \u2018R\u00eave g\u00e9ologique\u2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Since 2005, Ghizzoni has committed herself to long-term documentary projects, focussing mostly on the conditions of women worldwide, and the relationship between people and nature.\u00a0Examples of projects she produced include \u2018Odd Days\u2019, on eating disorders; \u2018Afterdark\u2019, about the psychological impact of war and conflict on women in the Mediterranean; and \u2018UNCUT\u2019, about women&#8217;s alliances against female genital mutilations in Africa and Europe. Her work was awarded at, amongst others, the World Press Photo in 2008 and the Sony World Photography Awards in 2016, and has been published in international newspapers including the New York Times, L\u2019Espresso and El Pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n<p>For \u2018R\u00eave G\u00e9ologique\u2019, she visualised and explained the impact of Humanity on Earth, combining photography with scientific research on climate change.\u00a0<em>\u201cThe project started from the feeling that numbers and data on Anthropocene and climate change are so so huge, so disproportionate compared to our understanding. The less we can imagine an issue, the less we care. This is the basis of basically all my work. Nothing becomes important to us, until it becomes personal, until it becomes something we can experience, and something we can actually see.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p>In the interview she talks about the project, its origin, and its relevance in the current context, and she comments on a selection of six photos, displayed below. ( OCSE)&lt;br \/&gt;\rThe problem of nitrates arises mainly from the application of organic and chemical fertilizers on cultivated land.
