Since 2017, the Géopolis team has been offering, at the Ateliers des Tanneurs in Brussels, exhibition cycles and an events programme enabling the decoding of current affairs and a better understanding of the geopolitical issues of our time. After our long and fruitful collaboration with the innovative and committed media outlet Euradio, we decided to offer a more ambitious version of our activities: the creation of a “Current Affairs Hub” combining exhibitions, weekly events and a radio station open to the public.

A committed radio station
Géopolis’ radio hub aims to promote a second audiovisual educational medium, after photography. It should make it possible to create links between the many journalists or photographers, political or community actors, by serving as a local relay for European news. This Brussels Euradio station will be a space for expression for civil society and the local community: current-affairs analysis programmes will be open to the public, and we will invite Brussels’ community organisations to help run the radio schedule. We will also offer an eclectic music programme, showcasing emerging artists on the local scene.
