Designed for touring, the educational exhibitions produced by Géopolis are made available to schools, or any organization wishing to rent them. Easily adaptable and freestanding, the exhibitions are installed and uninstalled by the Géopolis team. It is also possible, upon request, for a team member to come and lead an on-site workshop.
Our exhibitions have already toured many Brussels schools, the Brussels Parliament, and European Union buildings. Each of them is developed in conjunction with a scientific committee, composed of academic specialists on the subject, and our projects are notably supported by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Youth of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.

MISSING
In partnership with the International Committee of the Red Cross, Géopolis has dedicated an exhibition to a tragic and sometimes forgotten phenomenon: the disappeared in conflicts and migrations.

ALGERIA, FORGOTTEN GIANT?
In early 2019, as Algeria seemed resigned to a new mandate being imposed by a president who had been silent since 2012, a massive mobilization began, bringing hundreds of thousands of citizens into the streets of all major cities across the country.

MIGRATIONS, A EUROPEAN HISTORY
This exhibition aims to put into perspective the situation created by the influx of refugees into Europe since 2013 by revisiting international migratory waves since 1900. It consists of 28 panels (80x200cm).

THE EUROPE OF GREY ZONES
This exhibition takes us to Eastern Europe to meet six regions with disputed sovereignty and uncertain status: Transnistria, Crimea, Donbass, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, and Nagorno-Karabakh. It consists of 7 panels (80x200cm).

In a context where scientific warnings about the reality of global warming are increasingly numerous, Géopolis offers an educational exhibition that provides an overview of the situation and illustrates its consequences across the globe. It consists of 14 panels (80x200cm).

DEMOCRACY, A STATE OF THE WORLD
This exhibition traces the history of democracy, its evolution since its advent in Athens, to discuss the current situation. A large map also illustrates the international situation regarding democracy, based on The Economist Intelligence Unit’s 2017 study, which measures democracy according to very precise criteria. The exhibition also invites reflection on current challenges to democracy. It consists of 14 panels (80x200cm).

BELGIUM: LAND OF ASYLUM, LAND OF EXILE
This exhibition offers a journey through the century, from 1914 to today, by evoking the waves of migration during which Belgium had to welcome a significant number of refugees, but also where many Belgians had to take the paths of exile. It consists of 9 panels (80x200cm).

100 YEARS AGO, BELGIUM SEES THE WORLD
One hundred years ago, the Great War swept away all imperial regimes. It is a new, reconfiguring world that Belgian ambassadors, stationed across the globe, witness, and it is through their telegrams and photographic archives that this exhibition examines the post-war period of 9 belligerents (Germany, England, Austria-Hungary, China, the Ottoman Empire, the United States, France, Japan, and Russia).
