Europe’s grey zones

Géopolis is presenting a new exhibition series dedicated to Europe’s grey zones (Transnistria, Crimea, Donbass, Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Nagorno-Karabakh). Territories with uncertain status and disputed sovereignty, these regions now number 6 in Europe. Beyond the diplomatic issues created by these situations, their persistence is above all a source of hardship for the people who live there.

Six exhibitions invite you to discover these forgotten territories and their inhabitants, who have become hostages to issues beyond their control.
